Meet Laura
Hello and welcome!
I’m Laura Cardone, founder of Profits with Purpose, Inc. and creator for “The Daily Discovery Series”! Thank you for visiting!
The concept of The Daily Discovery Series started long before I started this business in 2003. Prior to taking the leap as a business owner, I worked in Corporate America for over 20 years helping businesses grow and prosper.
Like me, you’ve probably worn many hats. My roles have included serving as a Vice President, Chief Information Officer, Director, Manager and Buyer in addition to Mom, Wife, Friend, Daughter, Volunteer, and of course…Master Juggler!
Many years ago, I realized that I had achieved many of the outward symbols of success. Yet I felt that something was missing. There were many rewarding moments, and so many wonderful people in my life. Yet I still felt empty, conflicted, and was exhausted physically and spiritually.
Along the way, many friends, colleagues and clients have shared their own stories of dreams and goals, and their own search for more meaning and better balance. And within those stories were common threads of disillusionment, stress, and being tired of “life living them”. Maybe you can relate to this as well?
And so I began to wonder, how do you weed out the distractions, so you can find your own truth, your unique definition of success?
How do you create a balanced and fulfilling life… one that nurtures the soul, as well as the bottom line?
And so I jumped into exploring the nature of personal reality, in hopes of finding some answers to life’s big questions. And along that journey I learned a lot, experienced some successes, and have also made mistakes. I’d love to say that I’ve figured it all out. But like all of us who are wearing human clothes, I am a work in progress!
Well, here are a few things that speak to me. Perhaps they will speak to you as well.

We create our own reality. And that’s a good thing, even when we don’t like the results!

We can improve our life experience, and that doesn’t have to feel so hard! It’ll require effort, but we can let go of the strain and struggle and choose to enjoy the journey! Let’s not wait to fall in love with the miracles that are all around us!

Life’s so much more fun when we embrace a spirit of playful presence and reverence, rather than seeing life as a big TO DO list.

If we keep thinking and doing what we’ve always, we’ll keep creating more of what we already have. Doh!:)

So our daily choices matter. “Busyness”, disempowering thought habits, and misaligned action can keep us from realizing the dreams that matter most.
It’s a great disservice to ourselves and others, when we allow fears, self-doubt or another’s definition of success decide who we can be, and what we can have.
But thankfully, each of us is squarely and firmly in the driver’s seat! And we can steer ourselves in any direction we choose.
You have the power to have whatever we want to expand in your experience! That power grows through Daily Discovery and conscious choices that are aligned with the goals and dreams you want to grow into to!
Through Daily Discovery you reclaim your personal power and allow yourself to let your unique light shine as boldly as it can!
